FALL 2022

First Grade students learned about the contemporary Japanese artist, Yayoi Kusama. Mr. Sorgman and the students discussed how Kusama’s work is filled with bold colors and detailed patterns. They painted abstract backgrounds and by mixing primary colors to create secondary colors. They then collaged their pattern pumpkins on top!
